Daiso Charcoal Mask

11 Jan

Guess I’m just too free ey? Hahahahaha.

Another Daiso review. This time its the famous black charcoal mask! :D I was lucky enough to be able to get this. The lady was restocking the shelf when I passed by and I quickly grabbed this. Sure enough, ten minutes later when I passed by again the whole shelf  was empty. Regret that I didnt grab two :(

Generally its a black peel-off mask. The texture is a bit runny – not too sticky and it smells a wee bit weird almost plastic-ish, especially when its about to dry. Takes time to dry off, depending on how thick you apply it on your skin. The thicker you apply, the longer it takes to dry. Make sure to apply a deliberate amount so that it covers your skin nice and black. If its too thin its not gonna work.

The verdict?

At first I was a little bit disappointed, because I only saw the facial hairs got pulled out. No blackheads or whatever. Almost cry in disappointment because I had a similar case with the Bioglo deep cleansing mask from Cosway, which cost me a whopping RM30+ and its just pure shit. Didnt even pull out my facial hairs. Thank God this is just RM5.

But then..

Hahahahaha. Disgusting picture I know. But at least there’s one got pulled out! And its the one I applied on my chin. When I checked back apparently there’s a mini pimple just checking to say hi. And the blackhead is kinda big…stared at it for quite some time. That made me cheered up for a bit :D At least the mask works! For a bit. Or maybe my face is just too clean or blackhead free…heheh :D

For the price I paid, its a decent mask :) compare to the Bioglo one. Might repurchase if I ever ran out of it. A little goes a long way. Result may vary with different type of skin, Winnie tried this and it works wonder on her. Available at all Daiso stores for Rm5 :)

Oh! There’s also a LYN seller who sells it at RM7 here, if you have no Daiso store nearby you.

Cheers!
