I was never that into blush. I don’t know why. Most of the time I’ll spent my time swatching eyeshadow palettes or eyeliners, or checking out mascaras at Watsons. But blush? Nah. The last blusher I had was the Silkygirl duo blusher, which I bought on a whim for one of my dance performance ages ago. After the whole thing was over I cant remember where I placed it anymore.
So when I saw this back then at Daiso I was a lil bit hesitant on popping it into the basket. Heard great reviews about it though, seems like alot of people rave about this little thing. So I thought why not. Its just five bucks. Shrugs* There were three shades available, orange, pink and beige. Since beige was the most natural looking out of three (pink was a shocking pink and orange was..well orange) I picked up beige.
The multicheek blush is really quite big. Fits nicely on my palm. It comes with a mini brush too which i find useless. Too small and scratchy. I applied this with my kabuki brush instead.
The color however is GORGEOUS. For something that cost five bucks???? Its so pigmented! It has that subtle shimmer without making you look like a disco ball drag queen. It has a really nice smooth texture and I find it very easy to blend.
It gives me a healthy glowing look. Me like!
I used this while sitting for my major paper today. Two hours before exam and I was nervous as duck, so I took my time dolling up a bit. Just to keep the poor soul calm you know? If I do bad in my exam at least I looked good. Hahahaha.
Swatch in natural lighting.
All in all this is a good blush. And a good bargain too for just five bucks! Would definitely repurchase, if I ever run out. Its so bloody cheap! The next time you peeps stop by at Daiso be sure to look out for this thing. Definitely worth it
Ps : Am not sure about the ingredients listed, since I cant read Japanese. But it says back here as ‘Made in China’. Not sure how convincing is that, I heard most of Daiso stuffs are made in China, but they cater specially for Japan.
